ABOUT
I'm Mandy and I'm a dog trainer. I supervise all dogs at the day care centre. I believe keeping the group small benefits your pet by making them feel safe, secure and happy and it also allows me to get to know them personally and their individual needs.
We are based in Surrey on acres of beautiful securely fenced in private land. You can be assured your pet is spending their time away from you in a safe, secure, enclosed field playing, socialising and having fun with a small group of well-behaved dogs. This guarantees your dog will be happy, content and well socialised.
I've had dogs all my life and couldn't imagine life without them. I’ve owned many different breeds and loved them all. As a teenager I became really passionate about dogs behaviour and found myself spending all my time with them. I started exploring different training techniques and this is what led me to become a dog trainer. I found I had a natural talent with them and they enjoyed and responded so well to me I made it my full-time career.
All my training is positive reward based. I am forever updating my knowledge through different workshops and have worked alongside several top trainers and gained some great knowledge. In the past I have also worked in RSPCA kennels. I feel very blessed with my life and having a job I'm so passionate about. I couldn't think of anything more enjoyable than spending my day with a group of friendly and happy dogs and then sending them back home to you a content, tired and well balanced dog.
DOG TRAINING
I also offer one-to-one training. This includes puppy training, obedience and behavioural issues. All training is positive reward based and will be in a fun way and ensure quality bonding time for you and your dog. I have many, many years of experience in dog training and have worked alongside several top trainers. I also offer a ‘before getting your puppy’ consultation. This includes helping you choose the right breed of puppy that best suits you and your family’s lifestyle. I will also give advice on settling your puppy in once you have them home.
SERVICES
At Pawplay we offer a day care centre where your dog can come and burn off energy and have fun on acres of fenced in secure private land, giving you peace of mind that your dog is in a safe environment.
The day will begin with me picking them up and taking them to the day care centre where they can spend their time socialising, playing and making new friends. I only take on regular weekly bookings ensuring I know each dog personally and all the dogs know each other making the group a happy and well balanced one. I only take on sociable dogs and deliberately keep the group small. All shapes and sizes of dog are welcome and it is a great environment for puppies to come to a safe place and learn how to socialise and play with a group of well-behaved dogs. The dogs will be supervised at all times whilst at the centre. There is a small indoor shelter where your dog can go to rest if they choose to and at the end of their fun filled day I will return them home to you happy and tired.
BOARDING
We do offer a boarding service and again I keep the number of dogs limited as I like all the dogs I care for to still have the love and attention they receive at home. This makes their stay away from you a happy and enjoyable one.
